I began my career in Journalism in 2000 at the Gulf Herald in Pensacola, FL where I was a film writer. Within nine months I was promoted to Features Editor.
Later, I wrote for The Real Paper, a Pensacola based weekly newspaper where I focused on art, antiques and home gardening.
In 2007 I became part of the USA TODAY NETWORK team of freelance journalists at their Gannett News property The Pensacola News Journal.
My work has been featured in Pensacola Home & Garden magazine where I focused on homes in the greater Gulf Coast area, gardening, art, antiques, as well as organic recipes which I created from scratch.
I did all of the conceptual art work, created healthy organic recipes, cooked and shot the food.
Along with writing for Pensacola Home & Garden magazine, I also spent seven years at Bella magazine where I focused on issues such as women's health and relationships.
I've written for women's magazines such as Bella Magazine + Bella Bride + Bella Baby.
